As an established general contractor across southern U.S. markets, Franklin Construction Limited (FCL) builds partnerships to develop, construct, and maintain projects ahead of schedule and within budget. Our dedicated pre-construction department serves to bring our partners a product that aligns with their budget, reflect their desired finishes, and meets the timeframe in which the project must be completed.
Established in the fall of 2005, Franklin Construction Limited was formed by Franklin Development to provide an in-house solution for their construction needs. As a longtime business associate and friend of Aubra Franklin, Karl Wanke was brought in as the primary managing member to help oversee and run the construction division. His experiences in asset management, property maintenance, capital improvements, and general industry expertise proved invaluable in continuing company growth and expansion. The relationship between Aubra and Karl spans nearly three decades, and represents a true working partnership. Through this unique relationship and combined experience base, Franklin Construction Limited provides a level of quality and excellence in the multifamily market that is un-matched. Exercising a personal interest in every project, FCL seeks to continue a reputation of integrity by building Exceptional Housing Communities.

Franklin Construction Limited is created and later formed in August 2005.
First Senior Living
Completed first senior independent housing community - Home Town (2005-2007) in North Richland Hills, TX.
SAHA Partnership
Artisan at Creekside (2007-2009) is built with the San Antonio Housing Authority.
Licensed Assisted Living
Franklin Park at Stone Oak (2009-2011) the first fully licensed (TDADS) facility feature assisted and memory care units.
Second SAHA Partnership
Sutton Oaks (2010-2012) - tax credit deal for affordable housing partnership with SAHA.
Port Isabel Housing Authority
Artisan at Port Isabel (2011-2012) project built with the Port Isabel Housing Authority.
Dilley Housing Authority
Artisan at Dilley (2013-2014) community is built with the Dilley Housing Authority.
Franklin Park Alamo Heights
Franklin Park Alamo Heights (2014-2017) was the flagship senior living project for Franklin Companies featuring independent, assisted and memory care living options.
HACEP
Gonzalez Apartments (2017-2019) was the first affordable housing partnership with Housing Authority City of El Paso.
FCL Enters Louisiana
Franklin Construction Limited builds its first multi-family project in Slidell, Louisiana.
FCL Enters Oklahoma
FCL builds it first mid-rise multifamily project in OKC, OK.
FCL Is General Contractor For SAHA
You can add a new one for 2022 - FCL is selected as the general contractor to work with SAHA in their first direct partnership deal.
